PWS&D – The Church at work in the world
Farming for the Future in Guatemala
As a Maya farmer in Guatemala, Elida was once dependent on purchasing corn to feed her family. Through a PWS&D program in her area, Elida learned how to improve her crops and make organic fertilizers. Now, Elida and hundreds of other women in her community have seen their yields multiply so much they have excess corn to sell at the market, and they use the extra income to send their children to school. You can participate in the ongoing miracle of multiplication by investing in the future of communities around the world with a planned gift through PWS&D’s Loaves & Fishes Fund. www.presbyterian.ca/pwsd/loaves
